Wilton House
Dating back to 1543 when it was built by the 1st Earl of Pembroke, Wilton House, a sumptuous Palladian mansion located in the heart of Wiltshire has been used as the set for much of Bridgerton's filming. Large and diverse enough to play host to no less than four different abodes in the series, you'll recognise it as the Duke of Hasting's home, both Queen Charlotte's and Lady Danbury's residence, as well as re-appearing as the Duke and Duchess of Hasting's Clyvedon Castle.
Ranger's House
Sitting pretty in London's Greenwich Park, this gorgeous Georgian villa is instantly recognisable as the Bridgerton family home. Built in the 1720s, it has changed hands often enough but is well worthy of its place on screen in the series having once belonged to the 4th Earl of Chesterfield who renamed it Chesterfield House. Now a museum, Ranger's House is open to the public so next time you're in London, have a snoop around!
Syon Park
The gloriously extravagant Syon House in Brentford, Middlesex is built on the grounds of the medieval Syon Abbey and has been inhabited by its current owner the Duke of Northumberland's family since 1594. You'll recognise it's stately dining rooms and ballrooms as the set for King George the Third's Buckingham House in Bridgerton, but not only that, those with beady eyes will notice that Syon also plays host to the Duke of Hastings Simon Basset who is filmed there in his dressing room and private study.
Castle Howard
Perhaps one of the most infamous sites involved in the Bridgerton series, Castle Howard's impressive baroque facade is used as the Duke and Duchess of Hastings' honeymoon home, Clyvedon Castle. Located in Yorkshire, the so-called castle is an extremely well preserved 18th century estate still belonging to the Howard family who are descended from the 1st Earl of Carlisle. Its interior will be familiar to fans of the show as the backdrop for many a Bridgerton ball, but most of all perhaps the castle's bedrooms for Simon and Daphne's steamy love scenes!
Holburne Museum
Situated in the quiet Somerset city of Bath alongside many of Bridgerton's other elegant filming locations such as the Royal Crescent (home to the Featherington family) and the Guildhall Banqueting Room, the city's Holburne Museum serves as the exterior of Lady Danbury's mansion in Bridgerton. Originally built as the Sydney Hotel complete with fashionable pleasure gardens for its wealthy guests in 1799, the interior of this glamorous building is also used for some of the ball scenes in the series , and is now open to the public as a museum of art.
The Reform Club
And lastly but by no means least, although perhaps not the preserve of Duchesses who ought not to be seen in such locations, but our beloved Dukes of Bridgerton do spend a lot of their time at this swanky real life location; The Reform Club in London's Pall Mall. The Duke of Hastings Simon Basset and his best friend The Viscount Bridgerton, Anthony pass many an eligible bachelor's hour at this real life gentleman's club, drinking and discussing past and present romances against it's smart backdrop of leather and marble.
